Adding Detail

I was learning to add detail to my ideas.
I can write more than one idea related to the topic.
It was tricky because I didn't eat ice cream that much
and now I do not know what to write but it was a bit fun
because we finally got to write something fun.

Soccer Clinic

EPS Values

                                      I was learning to describe what each EPS values mean.
                                              I can describe what Respect, Resilience and
                                                           Responsibility means
                                     It was easy because I already new what all of the EPS
                                       values belonged in the task & out of the task & in us.
                                     

Persuasive Writing

    

I was learning to write a

  persuasive piece of writing.

I can give reasons why I agree 

     or disagree with a topic.

  It was easy because we had

 help from Miss Armiger and 

I already had many ideas in my

head.

Art Exhibition

                              We were learning to sketch and draw a kiwi for the Art Exhibition.
                              We worked extremely hard on our kiwis before the Art Exhibition,
                                When the class saw the finished piece we were all amazed, and
                                very happy,they were all shouting things out, I  said "wow! that's cool!" happily.                         
                                             Now we were fully ready for the art exhibition!

Poem Recitation

   I was learning to present a  poem in front of a audience. I can project my voice so everyone can hear me. I can remember my poem off by heart.I can speak in  a clear voice so everyone can hear me.
I felt proud of myself while saying my poem to the class because I have been working very hard on my poem and saying it in front of the whole class makes me proud and happy.

Volcanoes

I was learning to compare and contrast different volcanoes. I can talk about the shape of the volcanoes. I can describe what it looks like. I can talk about the lava flow of the eruption. It was tricky because I did not know much about volcanoes and the types.

Narrative Writing

I was learning to write a narrative piece of writing.I can talk about the setting characters and the plot. It was tricky because I did not know what I wanted my characters in my story to say and do.

Telling the Time

I was learning to read o clock times and half past times on a analog clock. I can read o clock on an analog clock.I can read half past times on an analog clock. It was easy because I am learning how to do it at home.

Maths Week

Division

I was learning to understand division by equal sharing. I can share objects equally into groups. It was easy because you just need to move smiley faces to the light blue,green and yellow circles...(actually,it was also a bit tricky as well.)

Writing Instructions

I was learning to write instructions. I can use a variety of verbs in my instructions. I can put my instructions in the right order. it was tricky because we had to think how much to add and how much we needed in our recies.

Schools Then and Now

I am learning to compare and contrast what schools were like in the past to what they are like now... Now I know that ladies ALWAYS go first and gentlemen ALWAYS go second. (but the question is... do gentlemen go first only when the ladies are a bit naughty???)...to be continoued. It was easy because our trip to Howick Historical Village helped us know what school were like in the past.

Te Reo Maori Feelings

I was learning to identify maori words for our feelings.
Now I can describe how I am feeling in Te Reo Maori.
It was easy because we learnt some of this in the past (I do not mean old times)...and now we know!

ANZAC Day

Did you know? 

The soldiers had tinned food during war.

Swimming

I love swimming because we learn how to swim so we can solve a problem out at sea. My favourite activity we do at swimming time is free time because we can do what ever we like in the water
